Financial Health

Money doesn’t buy happiness, but it can buy freedom. I’ve found that time becomes currency when you have your finances taken care of. As a lifestyle entrepreneur, I help people identify their values and build their lives around what matters most to them.

I believe everyone can experience an enjoyable career. Hard work and dedication to a mission make a great recipe for success. But earning money is only one side of the equation; it’s also critical to learn how to manage and invest the money you already have (regardless of the quantity), as well as to understand the TRUE definition of wealth, in currencies other than just cash. Unfortunately I learned this the hard way: my twenties were spent in high-stress jobs, working in environments that stifled and frustrated me. While it felt good to have a decent income, it didn’t make up for the fact that I didn’t have meaning or a feeling of purpose in my work. I knew I needed to change—my financial health meant nothing if I was out of balance and wasn’t healthy in mind and body to enjoy it. The same goes for you. As a first step, it’s important to know where you are and what level of balance you’re currently experiencing in your life and in the currencies of true wealth. Let’s chat about it!

Once you know where you’re at, it’s important to find a mentor or guide to join you on your journey. Business and lifestyle coaching is about long-term change. It’s about learning to take action and develop repetitive habits with a timeline attached to create your dreams and goals. Initially, you’ll also need to learn to understand the power of saying no. Getting clear on what you want and why you want it will help eliminate “shiny object syndrome” and get you to stop doing those things that aren’t moving you towards what you want. During those difficult times in my life, my own mentor held the space and asked me the tough questions that allowed me to intrinsically decide what I wanted and what I was willing to do to get there.  He saw my potential and helped me discover that it was indeed possible to truly enjoy my career. It took courage, hard work, and lots of growth, but now, years later, it has more than paid off. And now I’m grateful to be able to pay it forward – to you. Richest Man in BabylonI can truly say that I am fulfilled and overwhelmingly grateful for being optimally healthy. I feel blessed to dedicate my life to helping others, which fulfills me in ways that nothing else ever has. My passion for learning and growing is insatiable – I’m addicted!  It is such a rush when one idea – like “paying myself first” from the book The Richest Man in Babylon  – can immediately plug the hole in a draining financial picture with a single, small shift in behavior. Studying and learning about the energy of money – and putting that knowledge into ACTION – is what true financial health is all about. A lot of people I have met have interesting concepts and beliefs around money.  When you change these concepts by learning, growing or adopting healthier concepts, you experience transformation – which can touch many other areas in life, such as:

  • Your leisure time: you organize your life around what’s important to you
  • Your dedication and focus: you know what you want from life, and how to get it
  • Your income: you eliminate financial stress and instead relax in comfort

Getting there takes hard work. But at the same time, it doesn’t FEEL like work. I’ve invested years studying financial health and I now I can say I truly enjoy sharing the lessons, tools and resources I’ve come across on my journey. It’s my joy and my passion; I’m so grateful to spend my life helping people. And it’s achievable, not just for me—you too can organize your life around what is important to you, stop worrying about finances, and start enjoying every single day.
